This new product, which will be on display at this year’s National Hardware Show, is formulated to inoculate trees, plants and shrubs during planting time. It contains a diverse blend of five species of ectomycorrhizal propagules and seven species of endomycorrhizal propagules. This combination of elements promotes plant growth; improves soil conditions and strengthens plant ecosystems.
Available in a one-pound jar, Soil Moist Transplant Tree & Shrub Formula can treat two, one-inch caliper trees. For retailers, cases of six jars are available. Each jar contains over 4.8 billion colony forming units of bacteria, 3300 propagules of endomycorrhizal fungi and 218 million propagules of ectomycorrhizal fungi. Soil Moist water storing polymers are also incorporated in the mix to reduce waterings by 50%.
