The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for omni-channel functions essential to paid media, email marketing, digital strategy, analytics/reporting, and the coordination and management of high-level client accounts.

The Position:

  • Google Ads (one of the core priorities): Build, manage, and optimize Search and Performance Max campaigns, including keyword strategy, audience/asset testing, ad copy, budgets/pacing, and landing page alignment to improve conversion rate, CPA/CPL, and ROAS.
  • Manage and optimize Meta advertising (prospecting + retargeting), including creative testing, audience strategy, and performance reporting; experience with DTC/e-commerce objectives and catalog-based campaigns is a plus.
  • Plan, build, and monitor email marketing and marketing automation campaigns (newsletters, drip/nurture, lifecycle flows) using HubSpot or comparable platforms (e.g., Klaviyo/Mailchimp), including segmentation, A/B testing, and deliverability basics.
  • Collaborate on SEO, keyword research, and content optimization, including emerging search visibility considerations (GEO/AEO) and best practices across owned channels; experience with SEMrush and Search Console is preferred.
  • Own measurement and reporting: UTMs, GA4 reporting, dashboarding (e.g., Looker Studio), and clear monthly insights/recommendations for clients and internal teams; familiarity with Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking is strongly preferred.
  • Support basic funnel and landing page optimization (WordPress back-end familiarity preferred) and coordinate with web development partners on conversion-focused improvements.
  • Support influencer/affiliate initiatives in partnership with account and PR teams, including creator identification, offer/brief coordination, tracking, and results reporting.
  • Write, develop, and proof high-quality deliverables with extreme accuracy, including ad copy, email copy, landing page copy, blog outlines, social content, and client-facing reports/correspondence; solid knowledge of Associated Press writing guidelines is essential.
  • Manage client account workflows: agendas, timelines, deliverables, status updates, and proactive communication; ensure work is documented and reported on a consistent schedule.
  • Collaborate with creative/design team members by providing briefs and testing plans for paid media assets (static, video, UGC), and ensuring timely production and deployment.
  • Support event- and tradeshow-driven growth initiatives: Collaborate with colleagues and clients to support tradeshows, conferences, media/influencer activations, and related onsite/digital press room needs—helping coordinate schedules, capture content, and ensure post-event follow-up is executed and tracked.
  • Earned media integration (as needed): If media relations is not a current strength, learn ECPR’s PR workflow and support press campaign execution by coordinating outreach logistics, tracking coverage, and partnering with the PR team to translate coverage and event moments into measurable digital outcomes (traffic, leads, conversions).Co-manage or mentor one or more junior team members as needed to maintain accurate reporting, documentation, and campaign execution standards.
